Like many fashionistas, beauty junkies and makeup mavens out there, I love to try a new (or new to me) product especially when it's FREE! Not too long ago, I was contacted by All You magazine and was asked to give my feedback on beauty products for their spring publication. My focus was on products formulated for hair care, more specifically, highly specialized leave-in hair conditioners.
For my review, I received full sized bottles of: Herbal Essences' Honey I'm Strong Silkening Spray, Pantene's Overnight Miracle Hair Serum, Alberto VO5's Salon Series Simply Stunning Leave-In Conditioner Spray, and more. I followed a strict guideline to experience each product optimally and gave my "expert" opinion as an All You reader/tester.
I really enjoyed using all of the hair care products provided by All You and still have each of them in rotation depending my hair care needs. The VO5 Simply Stunning treatment, for example, is great for everyday conditioning as it is light and even worked to address my split ends but I prefer to use the Herbal Essences Honey I'm Strong silkening spray on my hair when it is wet as provides a better sheen once dry. The Herbal Essences also left my hair feeling wet when first applied and when I used any thermal curling tools I didn't want to feel as if I was overheating my hair.
