The theme for last Friday's Beauty Binge was Pamper Yourself, after a full week of life it was a true treat to take some "me time" and spoil myself with a few of my favorite beauty products. I love the excitement of finding those little things that make a big difference! The next morning, I woke feeling and looking refreshed with a radiant complexion, shiny hydrated hair and supple skin. With that in mind, I headed to the L'Oreal employee store to reap the benefits of being an evaluator and snagged an armful of goodies to try this fall.

I shared with you, in a previous L'Oreal blog post that they recently purchased Carol's Daughter. Were you shocked too? I was a fan of their Mimosa Hair Honey Shine Pomade prior to the acquisition but now I have access to the entire line and started my exploration earlier this year.
For my whole family I selected a few Ocean line products which are formulated to be moisturizing, perfect for the cooler autumn temperatures. The Sulfate-Free Cleansing Gel and Body Butter Cream will keep our skin hydrated and allow us to layer this clean smelling scent.
For the adults, the Peppermint Foot Lotion which soothes and revitalizes tired, achy tootsies! The Black Vanilla hair car line and the other moisturizing hair items I selected for myself. Any extra hydration I can get from a cleansing and/or styling product is a huge win for my locks. Irons and dry weather can really stress my tresses so I can't wait to try them all! My husband was excited about the scent so it seems we both benefit :)

The SoftSheen Carson products I chose will rejuvenate and restore any damage I may have, while preventing future tress distress.
Amla Oil, popular in India, is quickly becoming the rage here for beautiful hair if you follow the trends and is main feature in their Amla Legend line. Remember when Moroccan Oil was all the rage? Amla is touted for promoting hair health by combating hair loss and prematurely graying hair. Tracee Ellis Ross has been named the Amla Ambassador for SoftSheen, who now offers an Amla product that erases 2 years of damage in 2 weeks! I have used an amla oil based hair cream with great results so I was motivated to try some new product types.
To round out my expedition I grabbed a L'Oreal facial cream, a few new lip shades by NYX and some colorful eyeliners in purple, hot pink and emerald green from Urban Decay! Looking forward to creating some playful looks with these 24/7 waterproof liquid liners this season and year round.
