Oh man my spring cleaning routine just went from a 6 to a 10 with this NEW Bounty product combined with Dawn. A water activated tool that will make my cleaning nightmares less scary. I have not received my shipment yet but I will share images and feedback when I do.   Got this in my inbox and quickly accepted the invite!  Dior's Candy Choc...Perfect for Spring!  When the snow melts and the temperatures warm up in Cleveland it's a prerequisite that you get out and enjoy life!!! This weekend in temperatures was above 60F and the skies were clear giving Clevelanders an opportunity to take full advantage of spring lifestyle and beauty events. I was able to get my foot in the door at several of them and had a great time doing so. Take a peek at what my fair city offered this past weekend! SATURDAY Dior After running the usual errands, my afternoon began with an appointment at Dior in Beachwood's Nordstrom. There I met Dior National Makeup Artist, Garrett Claubet, who is based in New York but was in town for a special beauty event over the weekend. Garrett is a outgoing guy who knows all about Dior, especially how to make your eyes POP! Before we got down to makeup, I had a mini facial to prep my skin for a fresh spring look. I use Dior's Diorsnow skincare for radiant skin which includes: creamy cleanser, toner, eye serum, facial serum and a SPF moisturizer. I just love the way they describe the line: DIORSNOW: In the eternal quest for ideal bright beauty, Dior Science has discovered the exceptional brightening power of a legendary flower, the Edelweiss. It is the only flower able to bloom with pure whiteness even under extreme external conditions. The more extreme the conditions are, the whiter this rare flower blooms. During my makeup consultation with Garrett, I mentioned I love color and will take risks for the sake of beauty. We talked about what my plans were for the night, considered my day and night wardrobe and selected an eye palette perfect for spring! When we were in agreement he immediately got a twinkle in his eyes, asked if we could have some fun, I said yes and my heart skipped beat. We went with Dior's Candy Choc...check it out below! Garrett and I chatted about Dior and weekend plans while he did a fierce cat eye with a pop of color for my fresh spring look. He was so pleased with the outcome he asked if my picture could be taken to post the final look on social media for Dior and Nordstrom, of course I said yes. Once we were done talking beauty I purchase a few Dior items and received a special Dior gift as well as several luxe samples. The gift with purchase was a Dior pouch with hot pink lettering filled with even more Dior products including Miss Dior perfume. A Dior facial, a fresh spring look, Dior products, samples and a Dior bag filled with even more goodies was a great end to this beauty event and an even better start to my weekend! Horseshoe Casino Saturday night my husband and I went to the casino to listen to music, try our luck and grab a bite to eat. We enjoy a meal at the casino's buffet to start and then walked the gaming floors to see if anything caught our eye. While we were there the Horseshoe was preparing to have ticket drawing for a special CAVS event. The finalists could qualify for a pair of playoff tickets and the chance to make a lay up for $77, a free throw shot for $770, a 3 point shot for $7700, and a half court shot for $77,000. Every finalist would win but there would be three top prize winners goingto the game. We continue strolling, watching other patrons win and played a few slots before heading upstairs to the Diamond Lounge. Not long after we ordered and received our drinks they began to announce the 10 finalists for the CAVS drawing and my name was called! I had 5 minutes to get to the winner's circle for my chance to win.  I was the 4th Finalist for the CAVS Half Court Heave Contest! I made it down to the winner's circle in time and was the 4th finalist. There were 10 basketballs on a rack with envelopes taped to them. I had to pick one and see what I won. I was also able to keep the commemorative CAVS basketball! Not one of the three finalist before me selected a basketball with the playoff tickets so I was excited when I made my selection. I picked from the bottom rack and won $100 worth of FREE slot play at the casino!!!
 Once the excitement of winning settled in a bit we headed back to the Diamond Lounge and thought about which games to play with my $100 prize! Saturday was jam packed and my adventures ended early Sunday morning. A new one began later that day! I just love all things shopping related, whether it is for home items, beauty products, fashion, travel, almost anything...discovering new brands, exploring products I've never tried, finding something that simplifies or enhances my life...always give me a rush! Almost always, I include sharing my feedback, good or bad, in that experience as well. I use several platforms to communicate directly with the retailers and manufactures, who are open to hearing from consumer how they can make improvements, what we love and what we want next. Most will even give you an incentive for sharing this information. When you know your voice is heard and your opinion matters it can build brand loyalty and increases your confidence when you make a purchase. Each day I'm involved in some part of the process and last month I earned some pretty cool rewards for my efforts. I gave my feedback on over 20 brands and won gift cards from 7 of them, which I've shared below if you're curious. It didn't take much time to provide my feedback and I had fun while doing it. I answered questions on my familiarity with each brands, my shopping habits and touched on the topics I mentioned above. Questions were available for the entire month of March and I could answer at my own pace. Yesterday I received their feedback and my prizes. Easy right?! Now some of the gift cards I won I'll use to purchase items from other brands my family and I use but you can be sure I will also invest some in the brands who have rewarded me for my efforts.
