Comedian Wayne Brady recently performed at The Hard Rock Rocksino in Cleveland. As a Hard Rock card holder I scored a pair complimentary tickets to see him live!
I asked my mother to join me over the holiday weekend and we had a great time laughing together.
The night was filled all the best @WayneBrady offers; improvisation, loads of audience participation/interaction and singing (my favorite). The highlight for me was a sign language act he did for a woman from the audience. My mother loved when Wayne traveled from the stage to the very last row in the back rafters to sing a song to a male audience member who had given him a song topic about a certain aspect of interracial dating. Let's just say you had to be there.
I've seen @WayneBrady on several TV shows before, especially when he worked with Cleveland's own @DrewfromTV on Whose Line Is It Anyway?. Seeing him in person is so much better! Wayne has more dates scheduled (Atlantic City in July) so if he comes to a city near you check him out and bring a friend!
Earlier this year, I shared a blog post about Cars & Cappuccinos. a Mercedes Benz event, sponsored by the @BernieMorenoCo, and promised to post about the first event in their Summer Concert Series.
Well here it is!
The June event was filled with music, foods, tequila, ice cream, fun photo opps and so much more (#luxurycars)!
My husband and I made it family affair this time and enjoyed time with our son and my mother. Mom and I had massages while the boys grabbed a bite to eat, then my husband and I headed over to one of the 3 bars to grab complimentary margaritas with a shot of @HornitosTequila (sooo smooth) while my son and mother took pictures at the photo station.
There was something for everyone at this concert and the food and music were excellent. The Latin Jazz Players (@LJPJazz) play songs that were perfect for a summer afternoon of fun. Every tune sounded as if they were recording a live album, it was awesome. Once we finished eating our meals complete with dessert we all burned a few calories taking a walk to look at the Mercedes, Porsches, and other luxury vehicles on display. We even tried our hands at putting on a miniature golf hole along the way.
The event was absolutely a success and although we intended to only stay an hour or so we partied until the event ended. There are two more events scheduled for this summer and we plan to attend them both. Until then check out the images below and feel free to leave your comments.
