I had the opportunity to spend time with, JJ DiGeronimo, an awesome lady of purpose, at a women's conference late last year and she shared with me a slew of gems that I will continue to use in 2015.
To give you an idea of what I learned form her, I'll share one I put into practice the day after we spoke. JJ recommends using a very simple list to determine where and how to spend your time to get the most out of each day. I personally find it to be helpful to track my steps as I strive to reach my life goals.
The breakdown of the list is as follows:
Requestor- Who is asking of your time/skills/services (can include yourself)?
Request- What is the task?
Time Required- How long to complete the request?
Goal Alignment- Does this activity move you closer or further away from your goal? OR Does this activity increase or
decrease you happiness?
Decline/Accept- Yes you will complete the task or No you will not.
Simple and impactful right?
If she's good enough for Forbes then I know I can learn tons from her knowledge, experience, successes and failures.
