continue using this product for an additional week to fully eliminate my spots and continue to use it as needed in the future. The full sized bottle can easily provide another 6-10 months of correction since a pea sized amount can cover your entire face and neck area.
If you suffer from hyperpigmentation then this is a good product to try. Thank you for hanging in there with me :)

Check out my 4 week picture below to see my results so far and be on the look out for my final results picture in early September! Special thanks again to Burt's Bees and InStyle for sharing this product.
If you've checked out the "What's New" page here on The Diamond Life, you know I've been waiting for the arrival of the latest product from Burt's Bees! They've developed a Brightening Dark Spot Corrector and I'm testing the new offering, for the next 8 weeks, for InStyle magazine. As promised here's an update on the product trial! I received my FREE full sized product from InStyle and examined the goods :) The products claims are as follows:
The product packaging, pictured here, displays a daisy for the extract used from the flower as a natural skin brightening agent. This extract is combined with a multi-fruit complex to diminish dark spots and discoloration. InStyle's instructions were not to begin using any new beauty or skin care products during the trial and to discontinue the use of any product that would work in the same manner as the Burt's Bees product. The directions on the Burt's Bees product are to apply the product after cleansing and toning in the morning and evening. What I like so far: the product is 99.0% natural so there is no stinging or burning when applied, Burt's Bees does not conduct any animal testing, and 80% of women see a diminished appearance of dark spots and discoloration after 8 weeks. What could be improved: The product is water based, a characteristic I like, but when applied to your finger tips for spot treatment it runs, which results wasted product. Overall my preliminary review is positive. I've identified my target areas and look forward to sharing my mid-trial progress and final results! |
